This is the oldest idea on the album, as it has been floating around in projects since the summer of 2018. It was initially just a neat progression I played on my guitar, but later on I noticed it has a very similar cadence to Smooth by Santana. If I ever perform live, I might bust out a transition to Smooth just for fun.
lyrics
When the road stops humming
You feel the sinister depth of great silence
When your brain gets nothing
It starts making interpretations
Where dark is only the truest
I can now see the glimmer of my end
How could someone just assume it
Oh, I thought that I outgrew this
But something's in the dark
I could've sworn that I saw you
But when I shifted my gaze, you were not there
What kind of tormentor are you?
Or do we all want to get along here?
When I tried to confront it
I was brushed off the shoulder, easily
Don't know what's real and what isn't
Oh, I still don't want to admit it
But something's in the dark
Shye helped me out on Artificial Soul. I am forever grateful for her work. This particular album is actually one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. BEAUTIFUL experimental sound design! Lavair

Woozy and hallucinatory, "napolifutura" is the kind of music that would play in an elevator in a Magritte painting. Also available on tape. Bandcamp New & Notable May 21, 2016
